Got seated really quickly with an outside table after requesting it, and had a lovely meal. The salmon avocado toast was great and so was the burrata Benedict. More than anything the staff was amazing, particularly Cal. He has a great way with people and is amazing at customer service. I would support the Cowboy Cafe again and request him as my server.

This is a great place for some real food. Whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner, it’s all great. I tried the beast burger and it’s fantastic. I also have breakfast there and anything that I got, on multiple occasions, was fantastic. The cooks know what they’re doing, and the ladies working out front are friendly and cheerful.

The Cowboy Cafe in Sheridan, Wyoming, is a great little restaurant. Hubby had the wild meat sausages, which were quite tasty. I am a cinnamon roll aficionados so despite it being dinner time, I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised at how good their cinnamon roll is! The wait staff were cheerful, helpful and attentive.

Insanely delicious! Best Cobb salad I’ve had had and I’ve had Cobb Salad in countless states and places. Excellent service. The homemade pies 🥧 are worth every bite. I would have had two pieces if they weren’t so generous in portion. I did buy a strawberry rhubarb to take home. Ate a piece of apricot raspberry while there. Would drive 5 hours just to stop here, again. Bravo Team!!!

Well worth the stop! Exceptional service, friendly people! I had the Elk Medallions with Chipotle Pesto and mashed potatoes! On point! Very satisfying and flavorful. The main event was the pie, though! They have a dozen or more homemade pie selections. I had the chocolate and pear pie. It had a layer of custard on top and the whole thing paired so well! Absolutely delicious pie! Highly recommend!

Had a great time at the Cowboy Cafe! Stopped in this local restaurant for brunch and immediately saw that it was a local fan favorite! The line was almost out the door to get a table. The food was excellent and definitely homemade. The portion sizes were large and you can probably share with someone no problem. Highly recommend stopping by if in Sheridan, WY.

There are places you find as you move through the world that feel like they are just stops just to fill the belly, and then there are places like the Cowboy Café in Sheridan, Wyoming, where one finds something more lasting than breakfast. I stopped in early wanting coffee and some grub, but left grateful. The Burrata Benedict was the kind of dish that makes you pause before the first bite, rich and bright and put together with the care of someone who knows food can be more than food. The Mountaineer Skillet came on like sunrise over the Bighorns when viewed by Father De Smet, hearty, honest, and strong enough to carry a person through a long day. But what stayed with me most was the people. The staff moved with warmth, grit, and purpose, serving coffee and kindness while also working toward doctoral degrees and building a new future for themselves and others they had yet to meet. That is the West at its best: hard work, big dreams, and the courage to ride toward a farther horizon. The Cowboy Café is more than a breakfast stop. It is Sheridan hospitality served hot, with a side of hope.
